House lawmakers will take up a bill to nullify the federal health care reform plan.
The proposed constitutional amendment barely made it out of committee, Tuesday. The measure says that Congress can't require a person to participate in a health care system, or require someone to have health insurance.
Louisiana voters would have to approve the constitutional amendment.
Opponents argue that this bill isn't needed, since the pelican state is fighting health care reform in court.
