David D’Aquin is the Weather Anchor for NBC33 News Morning Edition. He also serves as the Executive Producer for WVLA and WGMB in Baton Rouge. David weighed in at 254 – and he’s hoping to get a 1 in the front of his weight. David enjoys spending time with his dogs Buddy and Radar – but they have a lot more energy than he does. David’s hoping to lose weight, feel better, and get healthy. He wanted to start up Losing it in Louisiana because after a trip to the doctor’s office – David found out he’s pre-diabetic. Doctors told David he needed to start exercising – and eating healthy, or risk his health.

Carlos Rachel is the Fitness Director for Bally Total Fitness.
If Carlos’s name sounds familiar to you – it’s because he was a wide receiver for the LSU Tigers from 2003 until 2007. He was part of the National Championship team. He’s also got a Southeaster Conference Championship and two Southeastern Conference West Championships under his belt.
Carlos graduated from LSU with a degree in Kinesiology – with a concentration on Human Movement. Carols has a fitness certification in PT Fundamentals through Bally Total Fitness. He’s served as Fitness Director at Bally since January of 2008. Carlos helps people achieve their fitness goals by creating intense workouts that are diverse, fun, and exciting.
