EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH SHERIFF'S OFFICE — East Baton Sheriff's Deputies worked a crash that occurred at approximately 7:45 Saturday evening in the 20000 block of Hoo Shoo Too that left one woman dead.
Catherine Head, 20, was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced dead.
According to reports, Head was traveling westbound on Hoo Shoo Too when it appears her vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree and flipped. Head was ejected from the vehicle.
Deputies are still investigating the incident and believe speed could have been a factor.
