CROWLEY, LA (NBC33) — A Crowley man has been arrested for criminal damage to property. It’s a violation that the police chief says is “senseless.”
The incident occurred on July 22 when damage was reported at local parks, medians and privately owned property. Police say it happened in the early morning hours.
An Investigation by Crowley Police led to the arrest of Ryan W. Lodrigue, 18, of Crowley.
Lodrigue was arrest for one count of Felony Criminal Damage to Property with a value of the damage being over $2,400.
“This type of criminal activity is senseless. Tearing up public and private property with a vehicle proves nothing, yet costs residents and tax dollars to repair” stated Chief Gibson. “These cases are hard to prove, but this case was solved with good efforts from our officers.”
