BATON ROUGE,LA (NBC33) — NBC33 is Losing it in Louisiana six contestants and their personal trainers take on the final three challenges in the 2012 losing it games.
The burning biceps are leading the competition but the phi slimma jamma and the black mambas are close behind.
The Losing it in contestants and their trainers never say no to a competition, so for three more events participant pushed ourselves to brink.
"It was great to get to participate it was a lot of fun to see everyone back together again," said Bally Total Fitness Justin Kirk.
First up a rowing running competition.
"I was kind of concerned, because Lake said before hand this is going to hurt and I was like great,” said contestant James Henry. “It was actually a lot of fun."
"James Henry is a beast so it was great having him on my team," said contestant Carole Walker.
Pairs switched off between the two machines trying to beat the other teams time. The red team won by hair.
Up next trainers planed a tricep torture routine. Participants had to run the length of the room building a workout step piece by piece. Once the step was complete contestants had to do 30 dips.
The burning biceps blazed through the routine for the victory.
Then there was one last event drawing on our final ounces of energy the teams took to the gym floor.
"It was more challenging than I thought it was going to be,” said contestant Anita Katzman. “I was sweating earlier than I thought I would been. "
Contestants had to do squats, burpies, overhead throws, and v crunches. The team with the fast time wins.
The black mambas came up with the win, but it was not enough to take first place.
"If you would have did this say three months ago there is no way it would have been so close in some of the events," said Bally Total Fitness Trainer Carlos Rachel
The red team walked away with the crown winners of the 2012 losing it games.
