RAPIDES PARISH, LA — The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint from the Louisiana Department of Adult Protective Services in reference to allegations of sexual criminal acts that had occurred in the Pineville, Louisiana area.
According to the complainant A.P.S. received information that Monroe Dave “M.D.” Reynolds had engaged in inappropriate sexually related acts with three adults who were mental disabled. Monroe was employed at the time with a local care service that provided transportation for the victims.
During their investigation, R.P.S.O. Detectives had the victims interviewed at the Rapides Children’s Advocacy Center as well as contacted other persons of interest associated with the case. Upon completion of their investigation, the detective’s findings were submitted to the Rapides Parish District Attorney’s Office for Grand Jury consideration.
On July 26, a Rapides Parish Grand Jury considered the case. Indictments were returned on approximate 77 year old Monroe Dave “M.D.” Reynolds, formerly of Ball, Louisiana, for Three Counts Sexual Battery of an Infirmed Person.
On July 27, Monroe was arrested without incident and charged with Three Counts of Sexual Battery of an Infirmed Person.
