LSU is "brewing up" a new work study program for its food science students-- one that would allow beer to be made and sold on campus!
John Finley head of the University's Food Science Department says Chancellor Michael Martin approached him with the plan three months ago. Finley says a formula for the beer has already been created and he thinks he's found the ideal place to house the microbrewery--right on the rim of LSU's campus at the Lod Cook Alumni Center.
