Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A Penn State football player has left the Nittany Lion program and could be headed to LSU to compete at quarterback.
It is rumored that Rob Bolden is considering transferring after two years at Penn State.
Bolden, in 16 career starts, has thrown 14 interceptions and 7 touchdowns.
Reports say that Bolden tried to leave the program when Joe Paterno was head coach.
With the recent sanctions handed down to the football program, Penn State players are allowed to transfer without sitting out for a year.
LSU reports to fall camp on Wednesday.
