MISSISSIPPI (NBC) — A daycare center in Mississippi is under fire for a 9-year-old boy's alleged attacks on younger children.
Police released security video from the Kiddie City Childcare center in Vicksburg. It appears to show a 9-year old punching, choking and kicking toddlers.
It’s unclear if the boy will face charges, but former daycare worker Sandra Trevillion is charged with two counts of contributing to the neglect of a minor. That’s because it happened on her watch.
"This 9 year-old child, he was allowed to pretty much run rough shot over that entire room for a period of 15 to 20 minutes,” Chief Walter Armstrong, Vicksburg Police, said. “All his actions went unnoticed."
The boy's aunt says he's both bad and normal.
"He bad. He fight kids but he don't fight little babies,” Vinia Dolley, the boy’s aunt, said. “He do also have a problem. He take medicine every day and he just a normal child."
