NBC News — Fans got a preview of the opening ceremony for the London Olympics Monday.
A few lucky Londoners were allowed into the Olympic Park for the first time and were allowed in to a technical rehearsal of the opening ceremony. Oscar winning director Danny Boyle designed upcoming Friday night's spectacle.
If rumors are to be believed, the ceremony will include a stuntman dressed as James Bond who will parachute into the stadium to start the show. Boyle has said the ceremony will reflect Britain's past, present and future.
Fans who watched the rehearsal were impressed.
Friday night's opening ceremony is expected to attract a television audience of one billion people.
