Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — More than $4 billion in tax breaks are now getting reviewed.
The Revenue Study Commission met for the first time Monday at the State Capitol. It's analyzing which of these tax breaks spur business and which ones they need to get rid of.
There are more than 400 tax breaks that go to businesses here in Louisiana.
The commission will meet several times over the next few months. They're expected to make their recommendations to the full legislature early next year.
