NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Movie morons practice buffoonery in the bonus features for "The Three Stooges." This modern interpretation of the 1930's slapstick franchise is directed by the Farrelly Brothers. In it, Larry, Moe, and Curly are out to raise money to save the orphanage where they grew up. That means taking any job available including reality show celebrity or mafia hit man.
Will Ferrell brushes up on his Spanish in "Casa de mi Padre." This foreign-language film puts Ferrell in the middle of a Mexican soap opera. He's a ranch hand trying to save his father's farm when his younger brother returns home with a truckload of money and a beautiful fiancé. But when Ferrell finds out his brother's money is from a powerful drug lord, he vows to fight to save his family's honor.
Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt talk about casting technique in "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen." The two are brought together as fishing expert and financial consultant to help a wealthy sheik bring the sport of fly fishing to the desert. Thought to be impossible, the venture receives a big push from a government press secretary desperate for good news in that war-torn region.
Gene Kelly gets wet in "Singin' in the Rain." This cinema classic celebrates its 60th anniversary with a three-disc Blu-Ray release. Voted the American Film Institute's number one musical of all-time, Kelly and Debbie Reynolds danced their way to two Academy Award nominations.
