NBC News — American sprint legend Michael Johnson was a torchbearer thursday in the Olympic relay to London. At dawn, Johnson carried the torch to iconic Stonehenge. This is the second time Johnson has carried the Olympic torch, the first time was ahead of the Atlanta Summer Games in 1996.
This was Johnson's first visit to Stonehenge which he called "phenomenal." Johnson has four Olympic gold medals, one from the Barcelona games in '92, two in Atlanta in '96, and one in Sydney in 2000. The Summer Olympic Games begin July 27th on NBC 33.
