NBC NATIONAL NEWS — The principal of a Texas middle school is under investigation for reportedly spying on a girls locker room.
Principal Wendee Long of Wayside Middle School in Fort Worth has been put on administrative leave for allegedly encouraging her daughter to put a hidden camera in the Argyle girls locker room during a high school basketball game back in February.
Long, a former school board member in Argyle, has been principal of Wayside Middle School in Tarrant County for five years.
Sanger police told The Fort Worth Star-Telegram that they believe the purpose for the locker room video was to record the activities of the Argyle basketball coach and not to record illicit video.
No charges have been filed in this case, but it is under investigation.
