MASSILLON, OH (WJW FOX 8 News) — Two women began fighting in a movie theater over whether one should have brought children to see the movie "Magic Mike" Sunday.
Police say they responded to reports of an argument between the women at the Great Escape Theater at 175 Cherry Road in Massillon. Witnesses say one woman objected to the other woman bringing girls to see "Magic Mike," a rated-R film about male strippers. While en route to the theater, officers say they received another call saying the argument had turned into a fight.
According to the police report, an assistant manager and a witness, who is also a theater employee, one of the women "chest bumped" and slapped the other woman.
Police arrested the suspect they say started the argument and transported her to Stark County Jail. They say a summons could not be issued because she is a California resident.
