LAKE CHARLES, LA (NBC33) — A Lake Charles man is behind bars for allegedly providing false information to police investigators about a homicide. He was also allegedly in possession of marijuana at the time of his arrest.
The Lake Charles Police Department began investigating a homicide on June 25 for an incident that happened on the 700 block of Fall Street. During the investigation investigators questioned Ulises Barragan Cedillo, 23.
Officials say Cedillo was not truthful during questioning.
On June 28 Cedillo was arrested for Obstruction as well as Conspiracy to Distribute Marijuana. His bond was set at $300,000.
Cedillo is currently in the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center.
