NEW ORLEANS, La (NBC33) — A report today says the NFL is currently looking into whether the Saints are acting in good faith in negotiations with star quarterback Drew Brees.
The report says the NFL Players Association is asking the league to look if the Saints front office may be holding a grudge against Brees after he worked on the behalf of the Players’ Union last year during the NFL Lockout.
Should the NFL not launch an investigation into the union's claims regarding Brees' negotiations, then the NFLPA is prepared to file an unfair-labor practices claim with the National Labor Relations Board sources linked to the report said.
