Shane Troxler, owner of Brandi and Company Salon in Gonzales, La. came on BR Lagniappe to share about a fundraiser they are hosting for Dreams Come True on Saturday, June 30th. The event will feature jambalaya and white beans cooked by a world class Jambalaya Chef and will sell for a modest $6 per plate. Also at the event will be some of the " Dream Kids" from the Dreams Come True Non-profit and there will be face-painting, local officials , and lots of fun.
Troxler shared that his reason for hosting this event was the near touch of tragedy with their child who they thought had cancer. Troxler said that things like this affect not only the child, but the parents who go through it with them.
Guests can pre-order their plates by calling (225) 439-1553 or (225) 644-9933.
