A team effort by law enforcement officers led to five drug arrests.
State police confiscated seven pounds of marijuana and cocaine. Troopers made a traffic stop near Albany.
Officers said, the driver Remonto Johnson, ran off, but was later arrested with help from the Livingston Sheriff's office. Two people in his car were also taken into custody after authorities searched the vehicle and found the drugs.
Authorities also discovered that Johnson was traveling with another vehicle. That car was also tracked down, two more people were arrested on drug charges.
The street value of the drugs is about $8,000.
