They're big, dangerous and destructive... And they've been spotted in every parish in the state.
Wild Feral Hogs are moving in on Louisiana landscape and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says the population is growing.
The animals are known to turn farm fields into what look like mine fields, destroying seedlings and causing erosion.
The pigs are nocturnal so most of the damage is being done over night. The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries veterinarians say the animals are smart and not easy to catch.
