BATON ROUGE, LA — The Baton Rouge Police Department is trying to identify a woman connected to theft at a local elementary school.
Officials say on April 24 at about 11:15 a.m. the suspect walked into Twin Oaks Elementary, 819 Trammell Drive, and signed in at the office using a fake name. She then walked down the school hallways until she found a purse in an unoccupied classroom.
The suspect is believed to have taken a VISA debit card from the purse and used it to make several purchases from local merchants.
