NBC NATIONAL NEWS — From the U.S. you can fly, drive or walk to Canada, and now you can temporarily balance your way to Canada, very carefully.
The two countries are now connected by a cord high above Niagara Falls.
The high wire was strung by helicopter for just one man to walk across it - Nik Wallenda of the famed Flying Wallenda family.
Nik is a seventh generation circus performer and tightrope walker.
On Friday, he is scheduled to walk the 1,800 feet across Niagara Falls on the two-inch in diameter steel cable.
