BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Carole Walker with the blue team writes:
Well although my weight loss this past was less than I wanted it to be, I'm really not disappointed or discouraged at all. I've lost a total of 40 pounds since December and that is such an amazing feeling. Being able to buy new clothes in a smaller size, walking 5 miles without feeling like my heart is about to burst and even not having to ask for a seat belt extension on the airplane has been all goals that I've wanted to achieve for a very long time. Although this weight loss journey has in no way been easy, knowing that my health is improving every day is worth all the sacrifices in regards to food choices and making time to exercise.
Anita Katzman with the yellow team writes:
Our third weigh-in was last week and although I missed my goal (for my weight to start with the number 1), my number is heading in the right direction. I lost 4 pounds this past month, and I weigh exactly 200. Next month's goal is to be at 195, which is what I weighed over 4 years ago, right before I became pregnant. If I continue to take the Pump class on Saturday mornings, I will most definitely hit my goal. I'm sore for 2 days after that class, it's a great workout!
Rebekah Worrell with the pink team writes:
This past week was a little rough. My workouts were great, but we had the weigh-in on Thursday and I gained a pound. So needless to say I was pretty down about it. But no matter what I am going to keep working hard, and I am determined to reach my goals.
James Henry with the green team writes:
I've learned something very important recently. There is a direct correlation between Erik's joy and the amount of pain he inflicts on me. To give you perspective on the difficulty of my workouts, let me tell you that Erik has spent most of his time with me lately giggling like a little school girl. Until I started working out with Erik, there were very few times in my life that I had been pushed to complete and utter exhaustion. It now happens on a regular basis. Thanks Erik!
James Newman with the orange team writes:
I was so glad to see that I finally lost more than 6 lbs. over this last month. I am hoping that this trend of losing more will continue. I am still shooting for 10 lbs. in one month.
Kris Cusanza with the red team writes:
Amen. I have dropped below the 200 pound mark. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my body. Now it’s time to double up intensity and push even harder towards my goal. Everything about my lifestyle and eating habits has changed. When I tried to eat fatting foods this weekend as my splurge it all tasted gross. I am proud to say I can see the results of hitting the gym.
