New Orleans, La — On June 8, 2012, Louisiana State Police Detectives arrested Marc Griffin-Hagan, 30, of New Orleans and Fred Howard, 40, of New Orleans on numerous charges following an investigation related to fraudulent Louisiana ID’s and stolen credit cards.
The investigation was a cooperative effort with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office, Kenner Police Department and the United States Secret Service after they received information about identity theft and access device fraud.
Search warrants were obtained and numerous items related to the manufacture, possession and distribution of fraudulent ID cards were seized.
Griffin-Hagen was booked on charges of Possession of Fraudulent Documents for ID Purposes, Counterfeiting / Possessing Counterfeit Labels and Possession of Tools and Equipment used for Manufacturing Unauthorized Sound Recordings.
Howard was booked on charges of Identity Theft, Access Device Fraud and Forgery. Both subjects were taken to the Orleans Parish Correctional Center
