NBC NATIONAL NEWS — The defense has rested in the perjury trial of former Major League Baseball pitcher Roger Clemens.
After calling their final witness, the defense rested without Clemens taking the witness stand.
Clemens is charged with perjury, making false statements and obstruction of justice for denying at a 2008 Congressional Hearing that he used steroids or human growth hormones.
Closing arguments are expected to begin on Tuesday.
