Ascension Parish, La — Officials with the Ascension Parish Department of Public Works announced today that approximately 200 feet of one lane on Alligator Bayou Road at Frog Bayou Locks will be closed effective immediately until further notice due to erosion.
Alligator Bayou Road connects Bluff Road in Ascension Parish to Nicholson Road (LA Hwy 30) in Iberville Parish.
Although named Alligator Bayou in Ascension this route begins as Bayou Paul Lane in Iberville.
