Alexandria, LA (NBC33) — Learning how to respond and teach kids in the classroom made a leap to the 21st century.
The Department of Education at LSU-Alexandria held training today for their new avatar program.
The avatar program is a special program that simulates teaching and dealing with children in a risk-free environment.
The children are programmed to react a certain way depending on their psychological development and situations presented.
The Alexandria campus is only one of a handful of institutions that offer the avatar program in the nation.
