NBC NATIONAL NEWS — The second-to-last event of today's Diamond Jubilee Celebration in London was an open carriage ride by the Royal Family through the streets of London.
Her Majesty departed Westminster Palace to a 60-gun salute.
She was accompanied by her son Charles and his wife Camilla.
Prince William, and his wife Kate, along with Prince Harry rode in a separate carriage.
Tens of thousands of people waving Union Jacks lined the parade route hoping to catch a glimpse of the Queen.
The Royal Family was escorted through the streets by the Royal Guard, and 2,000 servicemen and women from the British Armed Forces lined the route.
