Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — East Baton Rouge Parish officials may be out of nearly $100,000 for not following the rules.
According to the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, about $95,000 the parish spent will not be reimbursed to East Baton Rouge.
GOHSEP says the reimbursement claims for the federal money were rejected because they were not made in compliance with federal and state rules.
They went onto say this would be the first time the parish has not been fully reimbursed for expenses claimed.
