Shreveport woman stabs domestic partner during argument

SHREVEPORT, LA — A Shreveport argument turned violent Tuesday when a woman stabbed her domestic partner.

The incident happened around 3:36 p.m. in a house on the 8500 block of Westbrook Place.

When officers arrived on scene, they found Jenkins, 65, with at least two stab wounds to his torso. He was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators uncovered Jenkins and Alice Henderson, 58, who lived with Jenkins, were arguing when she stabbed him with a knife.

Authorities arrested Henderson and booked her into the Shreveport City Jail on one count of aggravated second degree battery.

Medical personnel are now telling officials they expect Jenkins to recover.
