BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC3) — A domestic disturbance turned deadly this evening after a man shot and killed his 26-year-old stepdaughter, then himself.
The Baton Rouge Police Department tells us the call came in shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Monday, May 28. We’re told the man, David Robinson, 57, and his wife have been in the process of filing for divorce.
Robinson’s stepdaughter, Reagan Rowe was over at the home on Cedarcrest visiting and became involved in the dispute. The argument became heated between the two and that’s when he pulled out the gun and shot Rowe, then himself.
Both Robinson and Rowe were pronounced dead at the scene.
The mother was home at the time of the incident, but she was unharmed. Rowe's 7-year-old daughter was also in the house. She was also unharmed.
