NBC News — The Athens stock exchange opened at a historical low friday immediately dropping 500 points, something the market has not seen in over 20 years. Fears of Greece leaving the Euro-zone have been weighing down the market.
Investors are also scared that the country's debt crisis will force it to default on its massive debt. Greece is in the middle of several reforms mandated by the international community after it provided the country with a $164 billion bailout package.
