BATON ROUGE, LA — The LSU Student Union Art Gallery is interested in hearing from local collectors or enthusiasts who have Looney Tunes games, toys, or Warner Bros. memorabilia that they would be willing to loan the gallery for the upcoming summer exhibit What’s Up, Doc?: The Animated Art of Chuck Jones.
This exhibit, which will run from June 10 through July 29 in the LSU Student Union Art Gallery, will celebrate the renowned animator Chuck Jones, creator of the award-winning Looney Tunes short theatrical cartoons. The show will include Jones’s original drawings, animation cells, and animated films in addition to educational programming about his animation process. These materials will be on loan from the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, a non-profit organization based in Orange County, California.
