Lake Charles, La — On Wednesday, May 16, 2012, the Lake Charles Police Department’s Sex Offender Registration Division conducted two separate investigations concerning two subjects, who failed to register with the Lake Charles Police Department as sex offenders as required by state law. At approximately 6:00 AM, officers traveled to 1000 North Lakeshore Drive in Lake Charles, LA, where they located resident Michele Alonzo, 45. Once officers located Alonzo, who was convicted of three counts of crimes against nature, which carries a mandatory 15 year registration with the Lake Charles Police Department, she was arrested for second offense failure to register as a sex offender and for violation of her sex offender identification card. Alonzo’s Bond was set at $50,000.00 by Judge Clayton Davis.

After booking, Alonzo and Washington were released to the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center for incarceration.
