BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — 42-year-old Irvin Anderson crashed into an SUV on Florida Boulevard this afternoon.
Baton Rouge Police say witnesses saw the motorcyclist was going to fast.
Investigators say it happened as the SUV was trying to make a left turn in the eastbound lane, and Anderson, who was headed the opposite way,couldn't stop in time.
The driver of the suv and her passenger are ok.
But, Anderson who was wearing a helmet died of fatal injuries to his head.
