EUNICE, LA (NBC33) — A man who evaded arrest after it was learned that he was allegedly selling drugs out of his home was arrested this weekend. Before officers could cuff him, however, he took them on a chase through the streets of Eunice.
On Sunday, May 13, a Eunice Police Officer spotted the suspect, Braillon Gallow, who they had been seeking for several days. That’s because he was implicated in a drug operation that was being conducted at a home on Fuselier Street.
When the officer attempted a traffic stop, Gallow took off and forced officers to chase him.
Gallow finally pulled over and surrendered. He was taken into custody on outstanding warrants issued by the Eunice Police Department division. He is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (2 counts), Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug Free Zone), Illegal Use of CDS in the Presence of Persons Under 17 years of age, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Disobeying a Stop Sign (2 counts) and Aggravated Flight from an Officer.
He is presently being held in the Eunice City jail without bond.
