BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Louisiana is adding more cameras, signs, and radar detectors along Interstates 10 and 49 between Baton Rouge and Lafayette.
It's part of an $8 million project to help manage traffic delays on the roads. DOTD officials say the technology has been used in Baton Rouge since 2005. The system tracks traffic information in real time to give drivers a heads up when there are delays.
