Authorities hope baby birds can be found after swan eggs are stolen from park

NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Florida police are looking for the thieves who took dozens of swan eggs from nests in Lakeland.

The Swan eggs were stolen from nests on Lake Morton and Lake Mirror.

Sometime between March 1 to May 2, more than 20 swan eggs were taken from nests from those two locations.

Police are asking citizens to report any suspicious persons seen in areas around the swan nests.
