An implosion in South Padre Island, Texas is believed to be a world record. This unfinished 31-story condo tower was brought down Sunday.
It had been sinking unevenly during construction and could not be saved. The clock on the top of the screen marks just how quickly 31 stories turned into a pile of rubble...16 seconds. It is believed to be the tallest reinforced concrete structure ever imploded.
