Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Eric Guerin with the Louisiana Easter Seals spoke about Easter Seal's mission - to help provide support to persons with disabilities developmental and even autism.
He then spoke about their Walk With Me 2012 event to be held May 19th at the Galvez Plaza in Downtown Baton Rouge.
Guerin shared that registration will be held at 9:00 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The course for the walk will be 2.8 miles around the State Capitol.
Guerin said that there will be other activities out there that day which will include face painting for the kids and music entertainment provided by Jim Hogg and his son.
Guerin also said that there is no set fee to participate in the walk, but that it is a fundraiser and donations are encouraged. For more information on the walk, visit www.walkwithme.com .
