Lake Charles, La — On April 19, 2012 at approximately 9:52 p.m., Lake Charles Police Department Patrol Officers were assigned to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in reference to a male victim that was admitted into the emergency room with multiple stab wounds.
During the course of the investigation, the victim revealed that he was in an altercation with Anthony Releford Jr., 28, in the 1400 block of St. Mary Drive in Lake Charles.
During this altercation, Releford stabbed the victim twice in the rib cage, once under an armpit, and once in the hand.
Releford was arrested and charged with Attempted First-Degree Murder. He is currently being held at the Calcasieu Correctional Center on a $400,000 bond.
