LOCAL NEWS-Local rapper Lil Boosie is back in court today for day three of his First Degree Murder trial. State Fire Marshall is back on the job this morning, less than three weeks after leaving for the private sector. Baton Rouge Police have arrested a man they suspect shot and killed 27 year old Christopher King last week on Oriole Street.
CRIMETRACKER-Baton Rouge Police are investigating a double shooting that occurred around 10pm on Saturday night in the 47 hundred block of Oaklan Street. Also, Baton Rouge Police are trying to find who ran over and killed a woman in the 42 hundred block of Mohican-Prescott Crossover Street around 2:30am Sunday morning. NATIONAL NEWS-A video tape of an American aid worker who was abducted by Al Qaeda in Pakistan last year was released last night. In the video, Warren Weinstein addresses President Obama, asking him to secure his release.
