Baton Rouge man voted as finalist in PETA 'Sexy Vegetarian' contest

Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A Baton Rouge veteran is a finalist in PETA's “Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door” contest.

Trevor McGuire has beaten hundreds of other sexy vegetarians and vegans to make it to the top ten.

McGuire says PETA chose him because he's not a typical “model".

McGuire earned points with PETA through his work with strays - he works to reunite stray dogs with their owners.

McGuire says he's just happy to do his part for our four-legged friends.

"There's something for everyone when it comes to PETA, and everybody can do something to make the world just a little bit better for us and animals,” said McGuire.
