BATON ROUGE,LA(NBC33) — The First-Degree murder trial for Baton Rouge rapper Lil' Boosie begins today.
The rapper, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, is accused of hiring Michael Louding to murder Terry Boyd back in 2009.
Recently a district judge allowed the prosecution to use some of Boosie's lyrics [1] to try and prove their case against him. Jury selection is expected to finish today, Monday, April 30, with the trial starting on Tuesday.
