BATON ROUGE, La (NBC33) — Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery. More than 27 million people are being sold for sex and unpaid work all over the world, including right here in Baton Rouge.
However, residents in Baton Rouge are fighting to stop the problem in our own backyards, and all over the globe. They say awareness is key to finding a solution.
