BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — We've been getting lots of questions about who can vote for or against the proposed CATS tax?
If the tax passes, property taxes would only be increased for people in city limits of Baton Rouge, Baker, and Zachary. That means if you're not in any of those city limits, you can't vote for or against the CATS tax.
There are still local issues you can vote on.
To see if you're in the city limits, click http://gis.brgov.com/maps/ .
Tonight on NBC33 News at 10:00, we'll have a live recap of the results of the CATS election and other local issues.
We'll also have continuous updates here on nbc33tv.com once the polls close at 8:00 p.m.
