Donaldsonville Firefighters ask for help at the polls April 21

Donaldsonville, La (NBC33) — In Donaldsonville, Firefighters say they need your help at the polls tomorrow.

A ten year, five million dollar Property Tax was first approved in 2002.

It brings in $100,000 a year.

This tax has helped the station in Donaldsonville develop new computer systems, buy new trucks, and study possible sites for fire stations.

The Fire Chief says with out the tax, his department won't be able to replace old equipment.
