Hundreds of volunteers served thousands of Christmas dinners to needy families in Baton Rouge.
The dining room at St Vincent de Paul was a very popuplar place. Folks were waiting in line for hours for their meals.
Some folks we talked with say they went to St Vincent de Paul for a break from every day life. Others say they went to have the chance to talk and spend time with other people.
But everyone we spoke with says they're extremely grateful for the meals.
Volunteers say they didn't mind at all taking part of their Christmas to help those less fortunate.
