Junior League to host Triple Crown event May 5

BATON ROUGE, LA — Jodi Bauer with the Junior League and Bill Profita with Guaranty Broadcasting, discussed this year's "Triple Crown Event" for the BR Junior League.

This event is the Junior League's Spring fundraising event, which, along with their fall event, Hollydays, helps to fund their programs in the community.

Bill Profita shared that the BR Junior League is one of the oldest philanthropic agencies in the BR area that is made of volunteers who work to create and maintain programs that deal with education, early learning and poverty. 

The Triple Crown event will be held on May 5, 2012 at the LSU Stadium Club from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Invitees will be able to view the Kentucky Derby on wide screens and enjoy wonderful food, mint julips and champagne.

There will also be a photo booth, red carpet event, a best dressed event for the men, and more.
