HAMMOND, LA (NBC33) — A 33-year-old woman was arrested after she became physical with Sheriff’s deputies.
The incident happened on Monday, April 16 at a home on Scott Drive in Hammond. The woman, Kizzy K. Milton, was located in the home and refused to leave the residence after she became involved in an altercation with the homeowners. That’s when the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office was called out.
When deputies arrived, they say Milton became excessively violent and non-compliant. They say she began yelling, using profanities and even got physical with deputies.
Milton was eventually arrested and charged with two counts of Battery on a Police Officer, two counts of Resisting Officer by Force, Disturbing the Peace, two counts of Simple Criminal Damage to Property, Misuse of 911, and Remain on Premises after being Forbidden.
